Maybe a year or so ago, I read a posting to the q-list on a procedure for
repairing the rear amplified speakers in the 1992/3- 100/90, which exhibit
a tendency to short themselves out about every 10k miles or so...

Anyway, I remembered enough to open it up and insulate the PCB to keep it from
shorting to the cast enclosure. Saved myself a painful trip to the dealer
parts counter... again.

Unfortunately, I didn't save the article and have long since forgotten who
actually posted the tip. Many thanks to you, whomever you are!
