Thanks. Hmm... that's not too bad... it just might make for a nice spirited
drive through the countryside... via the autobahn. Can I assume that 3 hour

You can assume 100 kmph average IF the Autobahn is not blocked or slowed by
trucks. The 3 Autobahn to Nurnberg can be slow in places, and sections are
posted at 100 or 120kmph. The 9 from Nurnberg to Ingol. is usually wide open
and no speed limit. But I wouldn't want to be trying to catch an airplane by
counting on doing it in 3 hours. Accidents or construction can create huge
parking lots with no place to get off.
