I believe the issue (Feb. 98) containing this article was named "True
Grip"(cover title, btw). As such the the entire issue talks about awd
cars. Performance Car/CAR/Autocar all seem to be moooorrrree than smitten
with awd cars, sooo, they are not what I would call the most objective
bunch. (but what car rag is?)

Sure, I'll just hope on that plane. I guess when they ask me in customs
the reason for my trip my response would be, "Uhhhhh, to drive real cars."
Here's some flag waving, I just sold my 93 civic cpe, with some nice
suspension toys. Could and would walk away from most any Q on the list in
the right enviro. i.e. short twisty road where hp has little effect. Fact
is, I've taken corners in that car that I won't attempt in my 89 200tqw
w/H&R's and Koni reds at full stiff. IMO, that's objectivity.
