Programable itermittent wipers tip for 80 (us 5000)

This is a tip for installing programable intermittent windshield wiper to
our AUDI 80s (is it the 5000 in the States and Canada?)

I got the idea from Bob Petruska's tip listed in the www.A4.org site in the
A4 F.A.Q.s and we only have to change the location of the fuse box  and the
part number of the original windshield wipers relay to adjust it to our (80)
case.

The part you need is the VW Passat relay number 3B0955 531.

You open the fuse box under the driver's side wiper arm, you take out  the
third (left to right) relay on the first raw (bottom to top) with the number
229 on it (its part number is 431 955 531) and you install the VWPassat one.

What you get is programable intermittent wipers, meaning that you can
program the interval at which the wipers clean the windshield.

above.

This tip is working on my RS2 and I believe can work on other AUDI 80s too.
