RE: Sport Seats?

>From the option codes listed on your site Eric... ;-)

Sport Seats: Q1D
Elec. Operated Front Seats: 3L4
Heated Front Seats: 4A3

Now. I'll insist that this does NOT mean all US coupes have sport seats.
Unless the CQ has different sport seats than the 200. All sport seats I've
been in (200tq/S4/S6/A4) have much higher side bolsters and a very stiff
back seat frame...perhaps upholstered fibreglass? or carbon? In fact, I can
"knock" on the back of sport seats from the rears, while my std seats have
no such backing. Actually, most of us have the standard seating. (nomex)
Here the fiche is woefully inadequate again. Can't you have non-heated?
YUP. No cold weather. How about non-elec? YUP. (But not sure about US
spec here).

RE: Movement front to back in quick stops & starts. It feels like a smooth
movement, not a jerky movement. The syncro is missing the plastic spacers
and we call it the "rocket chair" because you move back and forth during
turns. (too lazy to work on that car right now). However, I hadn't
considered the rails that the seats are on. I had assumed they are pretty
rigid, but if a weld was coming out, this would provide this type of smooth
motion. Money's still on under seat internals though.
