In what regard wouldn't it be truthful?  AoA hasn't been involved in
rallying since Thumper last ran the S2 in '95.  All the S2 "factory" rally
cars built, were completely prepared by SMS.  The parts used (including your
6-speeds) were manufactured by SMS, and other parts such as the 5-speeds and
brakes were obtained from Audi sport, off the older Gr. B. cars.  In effect,
it was SMS that helped the effort recently, and not so much Audi.  I've got
a BIG fat Gr. A and Gr. N catalog from SMS for just the S2, with just about
every part imaginable for these cars.

This is all standard on the SMS S2's.  BTW, most older factory cars
(including Sprongl's S2) are setup with Ltd. slip front and rear diffs, and
a locked center.
