They do have an AWD BMW -- it's called the 325 IX.

It has all-wheel-drive, but no diff-lock mechanism.  The cars were only
produced for a few years (1988-1991).

You can pick them up for $5-$8K, and they are super-rare.

IMO -- there is absolutely no reason for spending this much on a a 325 --
especially when you can pick up a nice 5KCSTQ, 80/90Q, or a 4KSQ (
comparable to the 325IX).  They're cheaper -- and much, much better!
