QLCC, Bypass Valve and Intercooler Strapping Questions

Hi All:

After all new suspension components, brake components, tires, euro
lights,etc., I'm at the point where I would like to do some engine
performance mods and have a few questions.

I plan on going with the QLCC 1.8bar upgrade and would like to plumb
in a bypass valve. I looked at TAP's site and their bypass valve. Any
preferred sources manufacturers that you would care to recommend? If
I put in the bypass valve should I also strap the intercooler?  Seems
like installing a bypass valve is a straight forward job with no hole
boring and tapping into the intake manifold, right?
