I drove from NYC to Woodstock, NY last weekend, took 9W all the way up. I
spent most of the drive stuck in traffic, but everything cleared up about
West Point. I was following a Boxster and a Z3 until I got tired of going
so slowly. I passed them and really let the car run through the
mountains. If I hadn't had to be in Woodstock at a certain time, I would
have taken 212 (I think) up through West Point. If there's not much
traffic, that's a great 2nd and 3rd gear drive. Plus the view is great
for any passengers you may have.
I am interested in going for a Sunday drive, but may not be able to make
it due to Halloween-type commitments.
