Re: FS: 1985 urq ? - $8500

I didn't speak to the owner, I got his wife.

Me: Hi, I was calling about the Quattro for sale.
Her: I think it's sold. (to husband) Honey, didn't you already sell the
Audi? (to me) Yep, it's already sold.
Me: That was quick.
Her: Yep.
Me: Did it really have 38K miles?
Her: Yep.
Me: What did it go for?
Her: We got $9000. Thanks for calling.

Oh, and if anyone was looking at the ur in Zeeland (green metallic from a
frew days ago), I called. Stay away. The guy kept saying it just needs
some tlc and to be driven hard and that it's never left me stranded. He
had no service history, no idea what WX meant, didn't know that it was
repainted, was rusing on the doors and fenders - not perforated, just
bubbling and couldn't quote the mileage even though he'd been driving it
every day for the last four months - wouldn't even hazard a guess.
