Upcoming Sacrifice to the Gods: UrQ Brakes

I've finally warped my last set of stock rotors on my '85 UrQ... so I'm ready
to finally upgrade to Powerdiscs. (I know this has been discussed on the list
in the last few months, but the archive search engine seems to be unable to
find anything newer than Feb '98. Is it something I'm doing wrong?) I'm not
sure what pads it currently has, but they seem to be _very_ aggressive. The PO
had put the car together as a weekend racer, not as a driver. The pads have
lasted for 22k, but have gone through rotors like a hot knife through butter.

Anyway, Blau has the Powerdisc special for $179.95 with Remza pads (another $39
for Metalmasters). What is the list's recommendations for pads? I drive the
car fairly hard 20k+ miles/year (so cold performance is important) and do plan
on the occasional autocross and Road America outing this spring.

Brake dust is not an issue because: (1) It can't get much worse than it is
now... and (2) Driving the car here in the rust belt in the winter means
continuous washings anyway.

Any better/cheaper source?

Also, anyone have the part number for the injector cooling fan thermoswitch?
Recent troubleshooting proves mine is now a former injector cooling fan
thermoswitch.

Thanks!
