Malcolm Lake (ex-Events Secretary, UK quattro Owners Club) had what
might best be called an idiosyncratic colour scheme.  The car was Lago
Blue - with Royal Blue upholstery edged in Canary Yellow piping.

In the engine bay, various bits were picked out in his favourite
colours.  He really went over the top with the powder coated Canary
Yellow cam cover and struts - the latter, of course, can be seen with
the bonnet closed.

He was trying to sell it recently ...
