If I recall correctly Griot's sells two varieties. One is .040" thick for
headlights and the other .020" thick for turn signals and such. The 3M
sheets Stongard sells (Imparts also sells it) are .080" thick. I got the
U-Cut kit from Stongard which is 2 sheets approx. 9" x 18" and have had them
on my Euros (lights, not currency) for over 1 1/2 years. No heat cracks
either but I'm also only running 55w bulbs.
