I have to agree with Dave on this one, I've worked in the automotive industry
and I've read about the make-up of O2 sensors. They are all made the same,
and serve the same function. Comparing an O2 sensor to a spark plug is like
comparing apples to softballs, there isn't any comparison.

Everyone will have their own opinion on this matter, some will buy ONLY the
VAG part and pay the extra money, justified in their eyes. Others will buy
the Ford spec'd part and save a few dollars, also justified in their eyes. As
long as the vehicle conforms to emissions specs and it doesn't affect
drivability/longivity [which it won't], we'll all be happy.
