With that thought all engines are Essentially Air cooled as well. 

Oil lubricates the center section as well as transferring heat to the oil
system, then the heat is transferred to the outside ai via the oil cooler and
radiator.  Oil performs the same act by removing heat from the main and rod
bearings of the engine, with out the oil the bearings would simply Melt along
with the crankshaft....
