Brake Rebuild Saga (Pricing info)

Just a quick note:

     I'm replacing my pads/rotors all the way around and rebuilding my
rear calipers this weekend, with the assistance of another lister. 
I spent a considerable amount of time shopping for deals. Here is what I
found:

First, I shopped: Carlsen, GPR, TPC, VW Parts Inc, and Imparts.

Car: 1989 200q

1. Absolute best prices: Eric at VW Parts. Unfortunately, he didn't have
the front pads.

Rotors ATE German: 39.95/each front
                   29.95/rear

I've dealt with Eric before. I've had good experiences. Since he is in
NY, the shipping is less of a problem. The only catch is that he only
takes money orders on COD. No credit cards accepted.

2. Rod at TPC gets kudos for his assitance in purchasing. Unfortunately
with my time-frame, and coupled with the fact that he is currently out
of PBR MM pads, I couldn't purchase from him this time around. However,
by far he was the most informative and genuinely interested in helping
me out. For those that are shopping for parts, I suggest giving Rod a
call. He was very helpful.

(Note: Eric at VW parts had the rears for 28.95, but were out of
fronts).
