More transmission woes, shifting problem. ('90 CQ20V)

My second gear is getting increasingly hard to get into. Especially
when cold, it'll always have a soft grind, which I can feel through the
shifter.

My car has 83k miles on it, and I do not abuse it. I've just replaced
the tranny fluid, and that has had no effect.

My first fear is that it is the 2nd gear syncros, of which there is
nothing short of $$$$$ I can do about it.

I'm going to have the clutch bled soon, hopefully that'll take care of
the problem.

Are there any other reasons second would be hard to get into? When I
bought the car 8000 miles ago, it didn't have any problems (of course I
drive it a lot more in the city now, so maybe I didn't notice it).

Any possibility that the shifter itself is trying to push second into
the wrong plane? (because of worn shifter linkage?)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
