Folks- listen to what the man is saying!! Back in 1979, I painted my 1971
F-100 pick-up. At that time OSHA/EPA had not been invented, so us amateurs
could purchase any of the paints on the market. I chose IMRON, and was warned
by the guy at the counter to wear a repirator. I DID NOT. I did most of the
painting outside, but the tailgate and hood were in the garage ( two car with
door fully open). You guessed it, I thought I could take deep breaths outside
and finish the job without relocating the parts outside. That was a bad idea,
I got very sick and caution the do it yourselfers out there to be very careful
with these new (and great) toxic paints.
