dismembering the CGT, and ramblings

Just got back from wrenching on the Coupe GT.

Got the rear springs off, the rear bumper, taillights,
stainless trim, rear seat back, down pipe, cat-back
pipe w/Borla, trunk carpet kit.

Nice leisurely day dismembering the thing, terrific
weather today.

Next time, maybe I'll get the trunk lid, and the front
seats.

It's rather interesting, the drivers seat is bent at
an angle. I guess my torso must've done the movin'.

Instead of the seat back looking like:
            _____
            || ||
          --=====--
          |        |
          |        |
          |        |
          |        |
          ----------

It looks like:
                _____
                || ||
              --=====--
             /        /
            /        /
           /        /
          /        /
         /        /
        ----------

Yikes. I'm going to get some pictures of that, and
put them on my webpage.

I had an idea. I'll just put the Coupe motor in the
4ksq for now, and by the time summer rolls around, I'll
pick up an '86 or newer 5k(cs)(q)t with a/c. That'll
give me more time to plan and save up for it, and get
a house w/a garage.

BTW, there still are some places where the A/C bolts
broke without taking the metal block material off with
them. They are higher than where I was looking. I
guess they are for the top bracket. I need to take
a look at the 4ksq and/or the Bentley to know what
they are for. I was suprised to see them there, I
had been so focused on those broken parts towards
the bottom.

Anway, later,

Ken
