If the Burago model is 1:24 and costs $8.50- GET IT NOW! It's been NLA for
years and they sell for up to $50 here in mint/boxed condition. While not
as detailed as the Tamiya, the shape of the Burago is still excellent, it's
got working steering, opening doors and hood and nice decals. It's superb
value for money.

If OTOH it's the 1:43 Burago, don't bother. That one's a crappy toy. I've
bought a couple for about $1 each, and they're barely woth even that.

I totally agree on the DetailCars models, BTW. I've got the whole range,
and they're very nice. Couple of minor inaccuracies, nothing that really
detracts from the overall model and they're priced reasonably. I really
think it's a shame that Minichamps/Paul's Model Art didn't produce their
announced UrQ models- they're renowned for their superb detailing and
paintwork.

PS the best models of the 80 and 90 are the 1:24 kits made by Fujimi years
ago, now discontinued. A local store here sells the 90 models (FWD,
unfortunately) for a very small sum. I've bought a couple, and intend to
build them in several OE colours.
The new Revell Metal 1:18 TT Coupe is fabulous, too. I've seen them for
sale at $25, a bargain.
