I-5 tool solved, now for engine removal
Thanks to all who replied about the cylinder head tool. Turns out it is
a 12mm according to several replies and is (happily) avaialble from K-D
tools so I don't have to pay huge money for it.
Now, I've been told it is possible to remove the engine from a Coupe GT
through the top, but that it's difficult due to the tight clearances.
Before I embark on this project, should I try to yank it from the top or
pay large $$$ to have someone drop it from the bottom on a lift. While
I've dropped engines out the bottom before (Ford Fiesta) I had a
miserable time getting enough height on the car to pull the unit out. I
later did one while I worked at a dealer and it was SO much easier on a
lift. So all you 4kcsq and cgt guys that have done this advise me.
Please cc to my email address as my mailbox can't handle the whole
digest at the moment.
