Todd:

To get the seat back out you need to remove the headrests.  They are
held in by clips that slip into the round thing the headrest pillars
slide into.  After that you have to pull those round things up.  They
are acually about 4" long and hold the top of the seat back to the
rear fire wall, for lack of a better term.
