my ad IV

Hi,

Noticed you hadn't changed ads yet, so I hope it's OK if I change my changes...

My ad mentions that the car "needs a few things". I have gotten a few
casual inquiries but none serious, so I'm going to begin taking care of a
few of the things it needs.

The result is that I will have to adjust the price up a bit as I make
improvements. Could we leave the price simply at "best offer"? The entire
ad would now read thus:

1987 5000 "S" (i.e., non-turbo) QUATTRO. 5-speed. Grey/grey cloth with all
the extras. 117K. Very well maintained (major tune-up including belts at
90K; also new steering rack, blower motor and more). Mechanically always
reliable BUT does need a few non-essential things. Will sell for best
offer. Looks/runs nice. Prefer local sale (Ohio) but will ship if you
pay. Contact gene@wcnet.org or call 419-353-2501 for more information.

Thanks again for "the Q-list".

Sincerely,

Gene Aufderhaar
