Yes - in my garage. Besides, the temp was 8° that day - rather cold to
work outside.
        in _my_ wild and crazy youth i rebuilt a buick engine outdoors in
arvida quebec, in my m i l's backyard. the temp varied around - 40deg f or
c. i would tunnel under the car through a snowbank and then worm my way out
again for another part. my new bride was in the house to keep me warm. the
biggest problem was that my hands would stick to anything metal and my
breath hung in the air forever. much to everyones surprise it ran
beautifully when completed....and then the tranny went :>(. 53 buick
roadmaster v8. now that was a car that could travel in a straight
line...even when you wanted to turn.
