dealers

I know everyone always slags the dealers, but I actually had a good experience at a dealer today.  They used to sell Audi, now only VW and Porsche, but they still sell parts.

I asked one of the service guys about some problems I've been having with my brakes (mushy pedal, bomb is OK) and described the symptoms, told him I supected the brake servo, he said that's what it sounded like, then told me NOT to buy it new, "it's too expensive".  He said he'd just replaced one on his car.  I asked him where he got it, thinking perhaps they were carrying rebuilt parts, and he mentioned the name of a local wrecker.  I guess there are a few good ones out there.
