The fluid in all of my family's FWD Coupes is *power steering fluid*,
which is a clear liquid.  I do not know whether or not this stuff
is comparable/compatible to ATF, but you should be able to purchase
it in any automotive store for a couple of bucks.  Do you have the
owners manual for your car?  What does it say about fluids?
