FS: 20v N/A "A" block with pistons
Keith, how are you? I was going to slap a 10V head on it. You just need
to use a 10V head gasket because the water ports are different. My
intention was to build a little better 10V motor than the one in the
car. I think the pistons and 10V head arrangement would give about 12:1
compression. Any listners out there that could take a guess on this? It
would be my guess. The pistons are flat top. I have 10.5:1 in there now
and they have a slight dip in them. This block is real nice. Ask Ron
Wood at vw-audisport@worldnet.att.net he sent me the original info when
I first had this posted a couple of months ago. I would like to make it
go away so I can continue with the MC swap in the rally car..thanks!!
P.S. I almost forgot. I did take an 86' 10v. head with me when I bought
it. They do indead fit. The oil passages and everything fits right up.
I'm sure it's just gasket swap time..see ya!
