Hi Frank,

I'm interested. What brand? How much? Did you have to do anything with the
wiring to prevent meltdown?

Group- The brand is PHOEBUS # 9005 and they are 100 watt 12v lamps. I could
not find the box  for the low beams, so I am not sure about those. I did  this
swap way before I joined the Q list, and was not aware of any possible melt
downs. It has been several years and I have not had any problems. Then again I
have not experienced many of  the posted V8 problems .Perhaps someone with
negative experience will chime in. BTW, I am about to make the same /similar
change to the A8.
