Replacing Headlights On My Crashed '90CS

A few listers have suggested replacing the broken headlights on my '93
90 CS with "Euro" lights.  The car is currently being repaired at the
dealer through insurance.  What are the benefits/differences going to
Euro headlights compared to the North American lights?  Is it as simple
as mounting the new lights or are there electrical changes to make as
well?  Where do I or the dealer locate Euro replacement headlights?
