RE: Golf IV Synchro/Quattro

They're out of "my" market anyway.

I was talking to one of my engineer friends and he told me the following:
"When I was a technician, the only thing I could afford was a Celica. Now
that I'm an engineer the only thing I can afford is a Celica."

I make a decent salary, and as much as I'd like to, I can't afford to spend
$35-40k for a new quattro. A couple years ago the A4Q's were at the upper
end of what I was willing to spend, but not now. Well maybe the 1.8T is
reasonable, but give it a few years and it will be out too. It appears that
my salary is not keeping up with car prices.
