Re: Really Stupid Questions
Well, there are some of us hanging about. 80 was a US only (non Canada)
car and not many were sold. The 80 is the same as the 90 but the 90 has
leather, ABS, more stuff standard, etc.. Basically a higher trim level.
The 80Q has the 2.3L 5 cylinder engine, called an "NG". Same as the 90Q.
NA means Normally Aspirated, i.e. no turbo- or super-charger. The 3A is
the 4 cylinder that was in all the 80 FWDs. The 3A was used in one 90
application: in the 88 90 FWD.
I have been compiling the MOAAL: Mother Of All Acronym List in parts over
the last few months. An accumulated collection will make it way to the
list shorty. Stay tuned.
I've been keeping track of the people with 80/90s and there are about 90
that have posted that I've caught. There's a lot of similarity between the
20v and "our" cars in body, trim and electronics. We even share the same
Bentley.
Not a waste of bandwidth at all. Welcome to the list, you're at home... :-)
