Oil in fuel is quite common in I5s that are never driven far enough to
warm up properly and have one or more leaking injectors.
A leaking injector can dump 50ml or so of fuel into the inlet manifold.
If chance has arranged that it happens while that cylinder's inlet
valve is open, it leaks into the cylinder and seeps past the rings into
the sump. A little fuel in there doesn't matter, and running up to
normal temperatures will vapourise it. If the engine never gets hot,
the fuel never gets driven off.
Thus you get people claiming the oil level is "rising".
