Peter, if you really want the H4/H1's, get the right ones. For the '85
coupe, the H4/H1's have a sloped lens that matches the slope of the
grill. '84 and prior have a vertical face that matches the vertically
positioned grill of these cars. Making the '84 fit the '85 will require an
'84 grill, and that grill will not interface properly with the bumper trim
moldings of an '85. I doubt there is an aftermarket grill to provide an
adaptive interface. I think the elimination of the yellow corner light
(in the US it is just a running light, not a turn signal) looks much
cleaner anyway. The expen$e of these headlights, and the hassle of
integrating relays warrant sticking with the '85 thru '87 H4/H1.
Unless, of course, you are not limited by time and $$$. If you still
want the corner light, simply go with the Euro spec H4, and run
55/100W bulbs. These will be a _huge_ improvement over the stock
US crap that you will appreciate every time you drive at night.
