misc audisport news.

audi have confirmed that they have pulled out of the gtcc (stw cup).  this
bring to an end audi's a4-based racing efforts.  there are no plans for any
further development of the a4 racer.  the reasons audi has given are the ban
on quattro and 5-valves per cylinder (they were banned from using 5v for
their 2l engines and resorted to using a much modified vw gti mill).

abt (ex gtcc audi team) will work on the le mans effort, along with the uk
audi sport team.  and joest.

audi have also suggested they might use daytona (24h) or sbring (12h) to
test the r8 prior to le mans.  audi may return to the usa in racing trim
next year after all.

michele alboreto has been confirmed in the le mans squad for audi.
