Seat belt warning chime

Hi all,
        My 1990 100 seat belt warning chime doesn't turn off when I first
start up the car with my seat belt on.  If I am correct it is not suppose
to chime at all when you have your seat belt on during start up.
Fortunately it turns off after about 3-4 seconds after I turn the car on
which is normally what I would get if I didn't have my seat belt on.
There must be some sensor in there that is not doing its job.  Any BTDT on
this problem?

This 100 will be over the 100K mark today!!!  Looking forward to 200K!!!
