MC rebuild advice wanted

I am rebuilding an MC to put into 83urq. It is a single knock sensor from an
89 200. I plan to replace the rod and main bearings. Opinions on stock
bearings  compared to others? I plan to use total seal rings. Any better
options? Any thoughts on other useful bottom end mods? The head is also in
line for work. I want to have it cleaned, pressure tested, ported/polished,
guides and seals replaced, and seats angled. What is the thinking on bigger
exhaust valves? What source for quality valves if a larger size is good? 

All opinions welcome, its how I learn. TIA
