Hi there!  Yes, I'm still using the stock 14" rims, but shod with
205/60HR14's, on my `86 CGT.  You can expect a slight, but quite
noticable, change in grip.  A lot less tire squeal when cornering! 
Unfortunately, there is also slightly more road noise, due to the wider
track.  Right now I'm using Yokohama's.  I'm not sure which ones, (I'm
too lazy to run downstairs to see!), but from what I hear, Yoko's are
best in straight-away driving.  They seem a bit too squirrely in the
corners for my tastes.  But this is just MY observation.  See what the
other listers have to say!
