James Bond drove an Audi 5000???

Last night I caught part of "The Living Daylights" ( I think that is the
title ) James Bond movie.  At the beginning of the movie where he is
driving in Yogoslavia ( I think was there, it was late ) I noticed that he
was driving an Audi that look remarkably like mine!  Then there was a trunk
shot... the trunk had "Audi 5000 Fuel Injection" on the back with Austrian
plates and country marker.  Fine and dandy - James has good taste, but I
thought the "5000" didn't exist in Europe - wasn't it called the Audi 100?
