brakes on a4

I am aobut to change my brakes , timing belt and drive shafts and I was
wondering if there might be any special tools that might be needed for pushing
or twisting the pistons back into the brakes.  I would not think since I am
only doing front brakes, but I could be wrong.  Also is there anything special
I should know before trying to conquer the timing belt and driveshafts.  I
have replaced both on many other cars, VW's Maxima and a Jeep, anything
special to be known on a plain front wd A4.
