Dealer Charges

Hi all,
   Well, at last, my v8 is finally done. I have to pick it up tomorrow
after 6months in the shop and driving a variety of loaner cars. I missed
the beast.
   Of course, given that this car is the Joe BFLSK of Audis this is not
the end of the story. There is yet another black cloud- A $4800 bill.
   This is for taking of the old heads, putting on the used heads which
were already machined by Autosport, replacing the bomb, and putting on a
new antenna. The parts cost for the bomb was $470, and the for the power
antenna was $100, so it's hard to know how they got to $4800. Are head
gaskets really expensive? Did I just get a major screwing or is this
reasonable albeit costly?
