I've just started investigating a related issue. On the ur-quattro,
there is appreciable slack before the brakes engage. All disks and pads
are fine, tightly bled, new servo, etc.

The slack that worries me is, I beleive, mechanical. The car is RHD,
but the servo and master cylinder are in the same position they are
in on a LHD car. (BTW - it _is_ RR first when bleeding). The only
difference at the servo is that the actuator rod has to be set to a
slightly different length for RHD.

>From there, Heath Robinson (Emmet?) takes over. The servo is actuated
by a crank, rod and crank from the brake pedal almost a furlong away
in what would be the LHD passenger footwell. It's this linkage that I
suspect is producing the slack in the system.
