Chris, 

In order to assuage the large amount amout guilt you are about to have,
please consider depositing the difference ($3880) into a CQ repair fund.
This would obviously make you feel better about yourself and likely be
considered preventative maintenance against the audi karma  you are
unleashing.

No one has purchased an audi and ended up with MORE money at a later date.
It simply cannot happen.
