As Mike Williams already pointed out, that's a FWD Coupe GT with a turbo
conversion and one of 2Bennett's body kits. But the thing that Mike
didn't point out was that it's a slushbox!
I haven't yet had the courage to ask them how many transmissions that
car has eaten! (Considering the auto's propensity to disintegrate under
stress)

We did finally figure out the boost problem (thanks Orin!) later on
Sunday afternoon. Turns out that the reinforced hose that I have going
from the A/F meter to the turbo inlet has lost some of it's
reinforcement and is collapsing under suction. Something to do with how
much air the turbo wants when trying to provide full boost at 4K+ rpms!
;-)
And a clarification on brakes; those weren't sourced from Ron's Parts,
but from our own Todd Candey. Later today I'll post a separate review
of the Wilwood brakes.

John had been kind enough to let me drive the ur-q at a prior track
event (when it still had the K26), and I came away rather non-plussed
with the ur-q. Fun car, but not nearly as responsive as I would have
liked.
I had the opportunity to drive it again on Saturday with it's new K24,
and I can only echo John's sentiment about how it really changes the
character of the car. I would highly recommend it for anybody who
doesn't have the guts and/or resource to do an MC transplant.
Thanks for the write-up, Todd!
