It's easier if you can find a donor armrest.  My father-in-law has an 89
90Q w/o an armrest and is going to perform surgery sometime soon.  I have a
vague recollection that all that needs to be done is a slit in the the
leather and the armrest bolted into the seat.  There might be something in
the archives on this....
