Thanks for all of the advice!!,  I got a rebuilt PS pump for $225 form
Santa FE Audi Castle Rock, CO. 800-444-Audi  No core deposit.  and a 15
month warranty.  The old pump was only 4 years old and it was a rebuilt
pump (ZF factory rebuilt in IL.)  I had the old pump out in 15-20 min,
cleaned everything, Be very careful not to loose the o-rings.  (wipe
face) removed brackets and pulley wheel off old and transferred to new.
Put pump back on, primed it by turning the pulley wheel and using a fuel
bulb to prime pump.  Tightened every up started car, turned wheel lock
to lock.  New pump makes some noise  I hope it gets a little quieter but
steering wheel turns nice no more vibrations and power assist is back.
BTW. my old pump did not leak, it just did not work...lot's of vibration
when turning the wheel.
