Nah. That's more like "generally assume" than anything else. There's no
reason why a Z cannot of softer sidewall than V. Or manufacturer A's V has
stiffer sidewall than manufacturer B's.

I think I've seen Z tires that have higher tire wear rating than a V. And
if you buy Michelin, it'll feel like nothing and horrible in cornering no
matter what speed rating you go for.
