Gunson Eezibleed is a Winner
I used the Eezibleed this weekend on my UrQ to solve the heavy pedal
force problem after my G60 conversion. I can't sing its praises loud
enough. I couldn't get any fluid to come out of the rear calipers while
bleeding w/ the mityvac. Not a problem with the eezibleed. Thanks to
Phil for the idea to hold the brake pedal down with a broom during
bleeding. The brakes are back and they're great. I also used it on Rob
Winchell's 200tq with similar results. This was the best $26 spent in a
long time.
As a side note. Shuddering during braking does not appear to be related
to wheel bearings, unless they are almost falling off. After the brake
conversion, the shuddering in the steering wheel was solved, but the
wheel bearings were absolute crap. If you have any shuddering in the
wheel, without pedal pulse and your front end is pretty new, my vote is
for caliper guide pins. HTH.
