Fuel injection question
John Robinson has pointed out something I'd missed - the noise
suppressors fitted to the MB engine's fuel injection system are not
the same.
There are two - I'd always assumed they were identical and thus
interchangeable.
Not so. In the drain line (back to the tank) we have 035 133 533A,
which is used on many cars. But in the supply line we have 857 133 533 -
an ur-quattro chassis part, perhaps specifically designed for the
MB?
Do the MC-1 and MC-2 have identical noise suppressors on the supply and
drain lines? What is the difference between the two?
