No, dont think so. I need the knob that fits on # 811 035 543 - its also
labelled
BECKER AUTORADIO
BAW Nr 800 Z 8004
I think that its visable in the top picture on page 23 of Dave Pollard's
book. Its just above the lower rh spoke of the steering wheel.

Calling it a "car" is rather stretching the definition at the moment - it
might deserve it once I have spent several weeks welding solid panels where
the fresh air, rust and badly repaired panels are currently. It was last
MoT'd on June 16 1998 by a tester who carries a white stick and owns a guide
dog - I really cannot believe that this was roadworthy six months ago. It
was only the fact that it is such an early example that allowed my emotions
to get the better of my common sense and prompted me to save it from being
broken.
So far, the panels that I _think_ dont require any metalwork repairs are:-
The boot lid
Rh door
Lh door (maybe)
roof
bonnet
front cross member (maybe)

As far as I could make them out by the light of a fading torch,
B10 B38 B58 139 340 430 568
Paint code (I think) L97A

Not as far as I can see - I'll know for sure when I get the engine out. The
front calipers have spring clips fitted like those that hold warning light
connectors.
Now that most of the interior has been removed it is evident that it
suffered some damage to the rh rear wing at sometime - it looks to me as
though a new outer wing and possible an inner wing too have been fitted.
Some of the internal welds are MIG and poorly done and there is some seam
sealing (or possibly GRP strip) where I wouldn't expect it.
