RE 97 5kcstq new to me; WFO defined; glad I found this list

The collective response of the list to my post about my 5kcstq has been
nothing short of phenomenal! Having spent a few hours at Scott Mockry's
excellent website, I'm now in the mode of checking out sources for a new
multifunction temperature sensor (apparently this is not an uncommon
trouble area) and a throttle switch. Once I'm confident of the
integrity of the existing CIS & engine management, I expect I'll be
taking advantage of some of Scott's talent in terms of ECU mods,
wastegate springs, etc. I've got a pretty solid car to work with (and
lot's of other stuff to drive/ride when (not if) the Audi is in my
shop).

The enthusiasm & generosity of this list is similar to what I am part of
on the Brit-Iron list (arcane British motorcycles--another one of my
weaknesses), and on the BMW-GS list (the G/S is another passion).

As for WFO, that's motorcycle-speak for WIDE F**KING OPEN!

Thanks to all who responded to my post!
